2 years ago Robert Simpson was killed at Hendrys beach. Was there a conviction?

No, no conviction, no trial, no publicity -- except for the driver of the getaway vehicle, Brittany Weiler, who pleaded and so got probation. (She was recently in the news for being the birthday girl at a party at the Mesa where three were arrested for stabbing another. Associating with such apparently had no effect on her probation.) Shocking. Justice so delayed is no justice; word of mouth is that the trial is now scheduled for October.

It's been too long, Robert deserves justice! Fry the 'turds indeed--getaway driver included.

They only way to speed things up is for Robert's friends and family to get to the media to publicize the delay and put pressure on the DA's office to try this thing already. Just like every other government office, they respond to political pressure if enough is applied.

Rob and family was a next door neighbor (across the creek) in Montecito when my oldest son was growing up. They were the best of friends, were on the wrestling team at SB High together and joined the Marine Corps together. I am astounded that his killer has not been brought to trial or sent to state prision yet!
