Is there currently an undercrossing at La Conchita that will be replaced by an overcrossing? I am confused.

@298260P There is an existing undercrossing that is being replaced by a new undercrossing. The original one was never really meant for pedestrian use, the new one is. The overpass mentioned int he article is up at Bates.

They have been using a storm drain to get to the beach, so now they are replacing this route with an undercrossing that is designed for pedestrians. At least that's how I understand it. What I don't get is why this project is expected to last until 2016. does anyone know why it will take 4 yrs to to do this? Just get it done!

Yeah exactly four years is a heck of a long time. Oh well I won't be around here when it's done.
