Magic Pond

A small pond near Buellton has something magical about it in this aerial view. It's basically across the highway from yesterday's farm where we went blueberry picking a few hours before. To me the colors and textures are beautiful as with many ponds in our area this time of year when the water level drops and algae blooms amid the rushes. But the outline of the remaining open water in this one almost has a "designed" shape you might see on a gallery wall.
