Flying High

It was a beautiful day to be flying. The air was unusually clear for a summer afternoon. Somehow the summer haze was subdued today and colors were deliciously intense. Even Twichell Reservoir's little bit of water looked bright blue. Low clouds persisted over Guadalupe and Vandenberg, ending just before Oceano. Cachuma sparkled.

I intend to get a new camera soon that will better capture these sights. These snapshots don't begin to do justice to what I saw today.
