Falcon Buzz

Today's Falcon is not an early 60's (those were the round-fendered
style) but amid 60's, a 64 I believe. It might be a Sprint, a suped-up
model with sporty trim and features. It could be a Futura convertible. I've
got my husband's Futura 2 dr hardtop (no post between front and rear
side windows) The trim package on the 64 and 65 were slightly
different but the bodies were the same; both years there were the four-
door 'family car' and the 2 dr hardtop (considered the preferable body
style among Falcon collectors) Falcons were produced concurrently
with Mustangs till the early 70's. The Ranchero was the same body with
the roof behind the front seat removed, and the bed installed over the
rear passenger/trunk area.
This photo is of my late husband's '65. Note the side trim diff. The grill and tail lights are also slightly diff. (this Falcon has had much extraneous trim
removed). Thankls for the Falcon 'buzz' today!
