Douglas Family Preserve

Thursday's post about the snakes at the Douglas Family Preserve (Wilcox Property) inspired me to do a little snake hunting up there myself. They didn't show themselves for me - maybe I went during their nap time? But I did get some Acorn Woodpecker and Fence Lizard shots.

I've also included a few photos from a recent walk around Lake Los Carneros: a White Tailed Kite, and a very lucky (and hard-earned) picture of a dragonfly in flight.

This is great weather for some nature time.
