Gone Brown

Like a monk, the Bird Refuge has gone brown in my aerial of it today. Quite a difference from Edhat's 6/25 pix. Could this be an improvement from the boating, or is it actually worse? Somehow brown seems less a typical pond color than the green it had in places before.
