This little baby mallard duck was attacked by a dog on a private 20 acre ranch in Santa Ynez. The worried owners rushed the baby mallard to our Team Vets office in Solvang. The mallard sustained a right leg injury preventing him from using the injured leg. Nothing shows on x-rays as these are all soft tissues. Today is day 2 and he is doing much better, eating and resting with a baby quail friend, and another baby fowl.
