What is going on with KSBY changing to KNBC for news? And what appended to NBC Nightly News?

Any chance you were on channel 8 instead of channel 6? KNBC is broadcast on cox for a few blocks on that channel.

I wondered the same thing. I was on the HD channel for Nightly News and got the local LA broadcast instead. But I was too lazy to call and go thru the Cox phone maze. I'm probably better off not watching TV news anyway.

No NBC news on 6/27 either, just the LA news. Is calling COX the way to get an answer?

My DVR recorded the Channel 4 news last night, instead of the NBC Nightly News. I just figured someone at Cox was asleep at the switch.

Ksby posted a message on Facebook about service issues in the Santa Barbara area It would have been nice if Cox could have added a scroll to the bottom of the ch6 feed noting the tech issues.

KNBC News comes on at 6:30 pm apparently. At least I caught it there. However I guess we just have to live without Jeopardy, which is really upsetting ... :) It airs in LA on KABC, which we obviously can't get.

As was true in the past Channel 6 and 8 is now the same NBC programming out of LA. It is like we lost a channel. Also everyone is talking about the news. The national NBC news is still on . The issue for me is no Jeopardy !!! Anyone know when it is going to be fixed?

Looks like it has been fixed. Based upon Edhat comments looks like it happened late last night.
