Scanner Reports 6-29-12
updated: Jun 29, 2012, 7:05 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

What is the Capital of Denial? Anyone know the Capital of Denial? It's Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara is in Denial of problems. Not so long after one is out in the open instead of finding solutions public officials slap Band-Aids on them and denies there was ever a problem at all. It's simple as that. My friend drove by the Bird Refuge today he said it was smelling fine, and added the water is blue. Boy that was quick. I bet they brought in a preacher and all the wildlife was Healed by the Grace of Santa Barbara. As you all know nothing bad ever happens in Santa Barbara all around us butt SNOT here.

Interesting enough I read a comment in the Santa Maria Times concerning the shooting of the Gang Member parole at large on Thursday. It said something like "Nothing bad ever happens in Santa Maria, there's no gang problem here. Just go back to eating you rBBQ Santa Maria." It wasn't exactly that but kinda. It made me laugh. I wonder if Santa Maria gets our real news, and we get theirs? Not all the news of course. Will it's ok, "it's like that everywhere", some people say. But it's not ok to some of us. Every generation leaves a mess for the next generation. It's the same thing with presidents. Every new administration gets the old administration's mess. Therefore nothing is ever done there are no solutions. Sooner or later most likely there will be some type of collapse. The Rich get Richer, the Poor get Poorer. There is some crime out there it seems there are no solutions to. Crime that gets covered in Denial and quick fixes crime that happens everywhere not just here in Sleepy Santa Barbara. Just go back to your beautiful beaches and go surfing Santa Barbara nothing bad ever happens here.

Once we accept the denial it will be easier to live in the problem thinking we are in the solution. Does that make sense to you guys? It's makes total sense to me.
