Pyert, named by a niece who at two, mispronounced Peter we think, is about 15 years old. She was rescued from the cat pound as
"Belinda", but was stripped of that title. Pyert keeps mice, rats, moles, and gophers out of the yard, rules over her subordinate border collie, Zoe, and snuggles
closely in cold weather. She has little interest in capnip, but readily pursues a laser pointer beam.
