Missing Bunny

Anyone missing Bugs? Bunny that is. Very sweet young white rabbit very tame found near the Elephant Bar in Goleta. Animal Control picked up and said they would take it to BUNS. Hope he can be reunited with owner.

Thank you for rescuing the bunny, and for the Animal Control taking him/her to BUNS. So many bunnies are simply dumped "in the wild", after people realize that they can't care for them, or that bunnies are more of a responsibility than they bargained for. Domesticated bunnies cannot live "in the wild" like wild bunnies can. Most of them die once set loose. We have had two bunnies, who lived to be almost eleven years old, that were rescued off the streets. After they passed away, we adopted two bunnies from BUNS.

There's a lot of bunnies around the Saticoy Country Club in East Ventura. Many of them have been run over unfortunately.

I've seen a bunny or two on the grass on Hollister near the Goleta Costco too.

I live in the Hidden Valley area and we're swarming with bunnies this year! Has anyone else seen an increase?

That's weird, a coyote just came to my door asking if I'd seen a rabbit,..wait - maybe he said roadrunner,.. I dunno - regardless, be on the lookout for door to door coyotes.
