Tailors
updated: Jun 22, 2012, 10:39 AM

I need a new suit tailored for a wedding I'm in next month. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best affordable place in Santa Barbara to get this done?

Lee's Tailoring at 4141 State (El Mercado Plaza). He's the best!

I had some pants done at Panoyan on upper State St., near CVS. He did a good job, the pants were done on time, and the price seemed reasonable.

Alfred's Tailoring, 5276 Hollister Ave. suite 401 Santa Barbara, CA 93111-2332 Patterson and Hollister Area (805) 964-6119. Very nice guy and really reasonable and quick.

Nordstrom does a good job of this. If you buy your suit there they will personally taylor it with no extra charge.

ditto: Lee's Tailoring at 4141 State (El Mercado Plaza). He's the best! Dry cleaners can also alter things. I have used the woman at One Hour Martinizing on upper State Street. However, Lee's is the best and you could not ask for a nicer man.

3rd vote for Lee's Tailoring, he was my neighbor for 10 years, nicest guy in the world and he does great work.

Perfect Fit on Coast Village Road in Montecito does excellent work. Probably not the least (or most) expensive, but you can be sure they'll do a good job.

I had a suit custom made by Gary Panoyan at Panoyan Tailors. It is my favorite suit! It fits perfect. Fast, friendly, and quality work. I get my pants shortened there too.
