Pedestrian Sting

Tomorrow, June 21st, the Santa Barbara Police Department will be conducting pedestrian crosswalk stings at various locations throughout the city of Santa Barbara. This detail is being conducted due to incidents of pedestrians being struck by vehicles, and many more complaints of near misses. Motorists and bicyclists are reminded to be alert for pedestrians attempting to cross the street; pedestrians are reminded to be alert and be safe.
