Bigs the Silly Labrador

I sat down with Bigs this morning over a cup o' joe to pick his brain and find out exactly what makes Bigs BIG. Below are his answers from our little Q&A.

Name:Bigs, AKA: Biggles, Biggaligs, Sir Bigglesworth, Bigs-a-lot, Biggle Wiggles, Biggles Bee

Breed: Silly Labrador

Sign: Cancer

Favorite Activities: In no particular order: running, playing, surfing, swimming, hiking, cuddling, sniffing, eating, stretching, and sleeping

Favorite Food: Bones and treats of any kind

Favorite Place: The beach! You can often see me running/playing on the beach around Thousand Steps. If I'm not at the beach, you can find me hanging out on my bed :)

Favorite Movie: Homeward Bound

Favorite Song: It's a toss up between "Atomic Dog" by George Clinton and Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog"... both are classics

Celebrity Dog You'd Most Like to Meet: Scooby Doo

Something That Makes You Special: My owner rescued me when I was just a pup. I think I was about 8 months old or so. I arrived at the shelter the day my owner came to visit. He adopted me right on the spot. We've been best friends since.

Also, I'm a yogi. I love to stretch in the sun. My downward-dog is phenomenal. Maybe one day I'll be invited to teach a class at Yoga Soup…

A perfect day would be...An early morning run along Shoreline, the harbor, and the pier (with the occasional break to chase seagulls, of course), followed by some stretching in the backyard, a trip to the beach, a little ocean swim, a nap in the sand, and then (if I'm lucky) a hike up to either Inspiration Point or Rattlesnake Canyon. Top it off with a sunset walk on the beach, some dinner, perhaps a bone, and a good cuddling session with my owner. Combine it all together and you've got one happy dog.

Relaxing on the beach (don't worry, I'm turning 7 this year, which means I'm old enough for a brewski. Also, we recycled that can and picked up my poop from the beach... trying to set a good example for all of the other Mesa beach goers, one beach visit at a time).
