Why haven't the street lights been on on Haley (between Olive and Nopal) for a couple of months now?!
Residents are left in the dark to walk Haley St!

The city has a "Streetlight Hotline" you can call to report things like this: (805) 564-5416 They also have a "Pothole Hotline," a "Traffic Signal Hotline," and a "Graffiti Hotline." The reports are taken pretty seriously (at least for streetlights/traffic signals) due to the liability issue of the lights being out, so calling WILL actually make a difference.

Yes, the local vagrants asked the City to please turn off the lights so that they can get some sleep, and being the fair city that we are, we have complied.......
