Hello All of You, FRYday is here. I was sitting in the yard on Thursday just sitting there no reason in particular one neighbor came out and gave me one of the best Homemade Bacon Cheeseburgers I've ever had. About an hour later Belinda made me 8 ounces of nice hot espresso. Wow! That was really nice of them. Usually we're at each otters throats. I was waiting to drop dead you never know they coulda exlaxed it or worse.
So Wednesday evening my last call on the Scanner Reports, was a robbery not skipping a beat the very next morning, Thursday another Robbery. They were both armed robberies too. A couple people commented that now since one victim was robbed of his marijuana. Marijuana now has a victim, the man that got robbed I guess. I wonder how much he was robbed of? Curious. I wonder if it was a delivery? That would really stink.
So two robberies in 12 hours, then later on Thursday one of those "Grab and Runs" in Goleta but that guy got caught. I think it's kinda funny the guy said "Sorry I have to do this." Took the ring and ran. He's probably kicking himself about now. I've been robbed a few times in my life. They were not good experiences. One guy I gave up the money and he still stuck me.
I heard the other day that Engine Company 11 might be on the chopping block this time around. I'm pretty sure it was saved by now. I'm wondering though why would anyone even consider laying off Emergency Responders and closing Fire Stations? That is like shooting yourself in the Toe. We need our Police Officers and Our Fireman all of them, plus all we can get. What are we going to do during a Fire? Twiddle our Thumbs while our town burns down? Chop everything else up HELL get a Wood chipper I'll help.
Someone made a comment the otter day directed at me. That they thought about doing what I do (Listening to the Scanner) But they could not handle medicating all day long like I do. That might be nice but I don't medicate all day. I usually do that at night, usually when I'm done and relaxing of course I usually always listen to a scanner. I don't like going out in public with one but I have to get over that. But as far as medicating usually only night time, at the same time Pooh Bear gets his Catnip, it's only fair. As far as being lazy and sitting on my ars all day listening to the Scanner I can't work like I used to physically. My back, neck, rib cage, arms, legs, go out all the time. The older I get the worse it hurts. I got this stuff all over my legs I can't pronounce, I spelled that word wrong and I don't care. I'm doing not only what I love to do. I'm providing a service people want.
