More Bad News

I must report more bad news to Edhat. Less than three weeks after putting down Buddy, I had to do the same to Bob this morning. He had an exam two weeks ago and the vet found a tumor under his tongue. She (Christine at the Cat & Bird Clinic) said to bring him back in two weeks.

Bob's condition declined in the last few days. We spent several hours yesterday afternoon holding onto each other. I had some Pabst's, he had catnip. There was a nice breeze and Jacaranda blossoms fell around us.

So at 9:15 this morning I said goodbye to my second friend of 15 years. Not 16 as I reported with Buddy. There are many photos of Bob on Edhat. Just type in "Bob" in the search window. And even more are under "Deeper search." One of my favorites was my Christmas card from last year.
