Scanner Reports 5-28-12
updated: May 28, 2012, 10:45 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Monday-Monday, Memorial Day. When you're BBQing or spending your day at the beach please take a moment and give thanks to the people who have given their lives and continue to do so for our country.

I use the Code Reds for breaking news and to notify people of a possible danger, like a rapist or robber on the loose. If there's a fire or danger of...I do post animals in danger, strays etc. I guess that is the insanity in me I consider animals people. Recently there have been complaints that I'm not as nice as I'm supposed to be all the time? What the HELL is up with this? I report what I hear on the scanner and a lot of it is tragic. I feel it's my purpose to do this but much of what I hear on the scanner does not make me happy. Someone gives me a little of their snippy and I'm supposed to be nice all the time? I really don't understand the mentality, I am whom I am. I like whom I am and it makes me happy. I'm happy when I'm miserable. Leave me alone. Must I completely change myself for otters because I listen to the scanner and write the reports? Will someone else better dish up the cash to pay for charm school ‘cause I ain't got it. I think I have had this conversation with myself before about change. I ain't running for president. Got some spare change? Oh well. I'm going to keep reporting what I hear unless it's too dangerous to do so, or too personal. Weather or SNOT I get paid, laid, or all of the above. I started doing this because a homeless friend was murdered, and I continue to do it for the community. NO ONE TOLD ME I HAD TO BE HAPPY.

Ha,ha,ha,ha,haaaaaaaaaaa.

So this cat shows up the other day and it meows, and meows, and meows. Without a break. It was totally crying when it first got here. It ate 6 cans of Trader Joes cat food, at least a couple Fancy Feast and a plate of dry food. We decided to keep it even though it totally followed us around with these non-stop meows driving us nuts, and neither of us have fart to go. Well that's another story so anyway, the cat. We asked everyone in the neighborHOOD about the cat and no one knew anything so we figured he was ours. Pooh Bear is totally hating me about it. But I got a soft spot for critters of all shapes and sizes so does Belinda. After eating all that cat food the little Booger has not come back yet. I am hoping that nothing happened to the little SNOT. Now on top of being totally miserable and loving it I'm depressed as HELL because our little Jo Jo hasn't come home.

My mom recently sent me my kindergarten picture, everyone in the picture is smiling except for me. Even at 5 years old I was miserable. What a wonderful life!
