Cielo Foundation for the Performing Arts

Cielo Foundation for the Performing Arts has been presenting classical music concerts to appreciative Santa Barbara audiences since 1969. The organization is best known for its popular Free Fiesta Concert in the Courthouse Sunken Gardens, performed by West Coast Symphony. (This year will mark the concert's 46th anniversary.) In addition, its West Coast Chamber Orchestra performs an annual Bach by Candlelight Concert in late Spring and Mozart by Candlelight Concert at Thanksgiving. Cielo's founder and Music Director is Christopher Story VI, and permanent Guest Conductor is Dr. Michael Shasberger.
