May 17, 2012 - Cougars on the Prowl

Steve McGovern snapped this stealth action shot of a roaming neighbor. Whether it is a bobcat or lynx, the beauty of this creature is unbeatable, reminding us of Santa Barbara's diverse inhabitants.

In local news, we have horses attempting to swim towards the Channel Islands, SBPD will be ticketed while riding segways, and Roger Dodger is lamenting the loss of Mary Jane's accessibility.
