As the days pass and summer inches closer, many of us are getting out and enjoying Santa Barbara's lovely weather. Nature and wild life seem to be
thriving as exemplified by this adorable duck family swimming in a pond at Alice Keck Memorial Park.
In the news, there has been several unfortunate biking accidents. Police are still investigating a bike crash that left a Santa Maria man seriously injured,
and a local cycling team is mourning the death of a woman who was killed during a competition in Mariposa on Sunday. On a lighter note, UCSB has received
one of their largest donations to date, $50 million.
