I would like to introduce you to Sir Simon. He is a Boxer dog and has been in my life since he was six months old. Now at the age of nearly 10 years old he has grown into a handsome 90 pound adult, but still is a puppy at heart who thinks he is a lap dog. He lives in a household of four cats and puts up with them graciously, even when one of them tries to take over his bed. Part of the reason for his well-mannered behavior with the cats is the endless possibilities of scamming the cat food. He has a number of human girlfriends throughout Santa Barbara, who give me all sorts of nicknames and each receives a happy growl back from him, but at the end of the day he is always known as my boy. Awe.
