Farewell Brick Crosswalks

The experiment with brick crosswalks along Cabrillo Blvd. is coming to an end. Crews were removing bricks and laying asphalt at the more troublesome crossings. Others that remain in good shape will stay. Can't help but wonder what all this has cost.
