SBCC Recognizes 445 Honor Roll Students

On May 4, Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) recognized a record 445 students at the President's Honor Roll Ceremony and Reception held at the college's Winslow Maxwell Overlook. The annual event honors academic achievement by full-time and part-time students who complete the required number of letter-graded courses with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or more during Spring 2011 or Fall 2011 semesters. SBCC enrolled approximately 19,350 credit students in Fall 2011.

Student Wendy Aribe celebrated at the SBCC President's Honor Roll Ceremony and Reception with her family. A Santa Barbara resident, Wendy is a sociology major at SBCC. Pictured (left to right) are: Ana Uribe, (mother), Wendy Uribe, Andrew Cantua (1-1/2 year old son), and Justin Uribe (father).
