Scanner Reports 4-23-12
updated: Apr 23, 2012, 7:05 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Another Monday, beginning of a nude week, the first day of the rest of your life, etc., etc. A dear neighbor was testing their Audible Alarm Sunday Afternoon. It's very Audible. I won't break in there. NOW SHUT IT OFF! I bet this sort of thing doesn't go on for hours in Hope Ranch. Just another one of those abuses we POOR people gotta put up with in this town. Why I oughta, ougtha, oughta, Full Blast my Megaphone tunes to the theme of Titanic. Stay Tuned! Oh my Golly it's 4:20, I'll be back in a few short moments.

I'm back. Wow, never heard that before; a 290 Registrant x2. That is a sex offender times 2 ran on the Sheriff channel but he lives in Santa Barbara. Crazy stuff goes on in this town. Like this dude, first call I heard FRYday morning High Profile burglar released after 4 days in jail. He was wanted for 3 rooftop burglaries in Carpinteria. Police were looking for him almost a month. KEYT even did a story on him. Released after 4 days in jail. Oh wait a minute it's 4:20 Again I'll be right back. I'll tell you a lot of Lap tops are stolen in this town. I think IV gets hit the worst, but the otter day I heard 4 got taken from a dorm room at Westmont. It's a constant issue in IV mostly it seems on Del Playa. I'm wondering about people that are victims of this crime. Do they just go out and buy another laptop? Those things get expensive after a while don't they? And for the OTTER SIDE of the coin I guess it's a fast buck for criminals. How much do they go for? Hot Laptops? And are they all sold through C.L.? I hear C.L. is the place to sell hot items. I just wonder about stuff like that. The old days you went to a fence and they bought and sold stolen goods, I'm sure they are still around.
