Cheap tuxedo should go great with my bargain basement caviar and discount Dom Perignon...Luxuries are expensive, deal with it.

Mens wherehouse has a nice deal if 4 are purchased one is free. Even without that, the total was less than 150, which is way cheaper than most prom dresses....maybe he could hook up with some friends to get a deal.

822, a high school dance isn't exactly high end. Deal with it.

I say Mission is a great source; their suits are in good shape and should be a good budget buy for you guys.

Mens Wear House... My son got together with several friends to get the 1 free and they all saved!

I'll put the third vote in for Men's warehouse. We got wedding tuxes, not prom, there--but all the same. Good service, good price.

We used Men's Wearhouse as well for our wedding tuxes. We had some drama - mixed up our wedding date, mixed up the groomsmen, mixed up who was getting what where. I was glad that I called a couple times to review details because it seemed like something else went wrong each time. Maybe just call to confirm?

I second Mission Tuxedos. They did a nice job for me and the price was reasonable, plus I like supporting local businesses. They are near the corner of Mission and De La Vina. Google them for their website address.

King's Tux has always been great to our family.

Tuxes are the relics of a highly class-conscious society. They're bizarre, uncomfortable and not fun to wear. So go ahead and uphold this stupid tradition if you must.

I saw some really nice Tuxs at the Thrift store in Ventura. I got myself dialed out a few years ago for less than $30 and no one knows the difference.
