Scanner Reports 4-20-12
updated: Apr 20, 2012, 7:05 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Once again we have all made it to FRYday, a very good day indeed. Did anyone feel that Earthquake on Thursday morning? I think it was around 9:23 or 24ish. Belinda said her house shook like HELL when I fell down. It felt like an Earthquake to me too! I landed on my Pro 135 Radio Shack almost obsolete scanner. I thought it was a goner, "Crack!" it went between the cement and I. It was All right! In fact I stink it works a little better. I damaged the HELL outta myself though. Thank Dog no compound fractures though, those SUCK! Butt I cracked something. I'm hurtin' now I'll really be hurting later on. Drag for sure. I was starting to go out more. Now I'm just going to go to the bakery. :) I guess that is DOGS WILL in my life to go to the Bakery. Doc Sully would SNOT be happy to hear that. But I haven't been back to see him and he doesn't know I'm Roger anyway...Heeheehee.

I sure hope the police find that Hit and Run driver that hit that gal on State at Calle Palo Colorado pretty soon. I figure the scum bag will be switching license plates, taking the camper shell off, trying to paint that truck pretty soon to escape responsibility of running that gal down. It's too bad we have selfish people like that man living amongst us. Someone who won't at least stop and see if you're ok after running you down. The man is a killer that is what he is. He would not think twice about robbing you or killing you for a buck. So why protect him? If you know him, turn him in. That truck is out there somewhere.

I can't stop thinking about an old friend of mine I heard had died awhile back but did not find out till Wednesday. His name was Corey he was about 6'3, maybe 4 a couple hundred pounds. The handsome Irishmen even though he was homeless he could still charm the ladies. He liked sleeping under the stars and the stars liked him too. He disappeared for a time year or two rented a room found a job in Goleta. I can't really remember the last time I saw him out there. He got something and it turned into something else then we was gone. I was thinking about him the other day because he used to tell this story about having an old gun wrapped in an oil rag and buried somewhere in town. Only he and his pal Wayne knew about it - well now they are both dead. Who knows if there really is a gun buried somewhere? I'll be wondering about that probably till my dying day. Rest in Peace Cory.
