Scanner Reports 4-18-12
updated: Apr 18, 2012, 7:05 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Well, Welcome to Wednesday - just another old HUMP DAY to me - another pedestrian hit by a hit and run driver. He sure did not think anything of driving off after hitting the pedestrian leaving her lying in the road. I heard the dispatcher say there should be damage to the hood of the pickup truck. He must have been moving pretty quick, what a PUNK. It was a black pickup truck; I could not get all the partial plate numbers they were sayin', but this is what I got 516??18, or something like it. The driver was a dark skinned HMA 50s-60s. It occurred at Calle Palo Colorado and State Street. If anyone knows anything or even suspects someone having done this, turn him in. This could be your Loved One.

Transients are still terrorizing merchants at 21 North Milpas Aggressively panhandling. Last week I heard something about stolen mail across the street from that location. Also trouble starting again at 8 South Milpas heard 3 calls there since last week. Other Hot Spots - 331 West Montecito, Pershing Park, 3400 Block of State. Oh HELL there's trouble all over. I think the cops are doing a real good job trying to clean up all the trouble spots. Especially with what they have to deal with here.
