People make things worse than they are. Take that guy in Santa Maria on Thursday, no one else wants him. It was a Domestic with the old Lady she said no crime was committed it was just an argument. While he was evading arrest doing the high speed chase thing police said there were only two charges against him: Evading and Reckless driving. Then he was involved in an accident with a police officer and the cop might have been injured. Will things are a little sticky there. 20001 Hit and Run is a Felony but injuring a police officer while he is chasing you and running is allot worse. I suspect when this guy gets out of jail his woman will be arguing with someone else.
I'm bummed about Ken Williams calling it a day but I expected it. I didn't know he was 62 years old. I recall him telling me he was 56 a year or so ago. But maybe he told me 6 years ago he was 56 and I have black outs and I'm nuts. That's OK if I'm nuts that is something else I've suspected for a while.
Will there has been no one coming forward to drop a dime on the Flower Pot thieves. Now I'm wondering if somehow they are connected to the Landscaping thefts I have been hearing about. I told ya all Lilly Flowers got hit also. This morning I walked past there on my short Thursday morning trek for the Independent, and noticed some really pretty flowers in pots sitting there with no one around. And yes the THOUGHT did cross my mind. I'm no thief though, and knowing the guy I'm sure he would give me a discount.
About my comments that most city and county government workers are SCUM in my opinion. I guess I should be real clear on that comment because the Anonymous COWARDS will scum out of their holes cry and whine all over the place about this, they always do. Of course what I say here is only my opinion. I don't consider Emergency Responders SCUM. Although I'm pretty sure none of them are SAINTS either, and either am I. I consider those mostly in administration of Government those who pass the buck on Elder Abuse cases, Child Abuse cases pretty much any abuse cases SCUM. In my opinion anyone who treats another human being as "Less than" them while they are the ones whom are supposed to serve the victim, SCUM. I think the topic was the retirement of Ken Williams I consider most of the people involved in the business SCUM then of course there are the Poverty Pimps. Ken Williams is not SCUM. Neither do I consider the Medical personnel involved in helping the poor and homeless SCUM. It's those who pass the buck. They don't do their job. They know who they are and they don't care. They are waiting for the next grant. I like how when I said that the anonymous cowards scum out of the wood work to defend Emergency Responders as if I'm calling them SCUM. Anonymous cowards are just that cowards, there are worse things than SCUM.
I liked readying Barney's column in the Independent on Thursday about Mike Murdy. He was a swell guy and a good writer I knew him too. I also miss him he was one of the people that made Santa Barbara a good town to live in. The good truly do die young.
Warning: The First is check day for many people poor as well as wealthy and disabled too. Hide your money well. Especially you homeless people. Watch out there are ruffians in town just waiting for an opportunity to RIP YOU OFF. Elderly and disabled too, keep it in the bank only take out what you need.

Somewhere in the County did not hear exact location is a transient in his 60's with long hair jumping up and down with a paper bag on his head. Hiccups?
Another knife pulling incident near Dwight Murphy suspect possibly ran thru Santa Barbara Inn's parking lot. Something tells me this is going to be a weird weekend I hope I'm wrong.
Failure to Yield The chase in Santa Maria started out 415 Domestic then everything went to HELL.
I heard a dispatcher for the county say..."Did they remove the body or do they need us."

At an Apartment at 315 West Carrillo a reporting potty is yelling at the city police dispatcher because someone ripped him off.
Police are still looking for a rape suspect which could be practically one of the reasons for at least one knife pulling incident at Dwight Murphy. Then again I could be totally wrong.
