By Roger the Scanner Guy
Welcome to Fryday and another episode of Roger's Scanner Reports. I like to know who's new to the neighborhood that is why I like to periodically look at MegansLawCa.Gov website. I noticed there is only one listing from the 800 Block of Cacique Street, and it looks like he's in violation. At least that is what it says on the City of Santa Barbara Listing. Some of the Sex Offenders when released are paroled through homeless shelters, later on after going through the program they are placed or helped getting places to live in other areas of the cities in which they live. Having had lived in this neighborHOOD for 15 years I can tell you one thing. Many of the sex offenders listed on the Santa Barbara County website in which there are many more sex offenders than the city listing have gone through the homeless shelter in my neighborHOOD at one time or another. Now Sex Offenders are spread out all over the County. Maybe in your NeighborHOOD take a look. It's always good to know who lives in the NeighborHOOD.
Why so much anger lately? Why is everyone so MAD...Why can't we just get along even if we HATE each other's guts? Anger can put you in an early grave it did my Father, it might me. I was quite angry when I was younger too bad the internet wasn't around then. Seems like lately people coming to Edhat for advice are bombarded with smart aleck remarks, a couple are OK Butt this is getting a little outta hand. Personally I think many of the posters are career journalists with nothing better to do because Mommy or Daddy Editor won't let them report the news. They gotta come over here to Edhat and condemn us because they are jealous. Gads someone whom I thought was my Edhat friend nailed me the other day anonymously, I was actually hurt when he told me who he really was. As if I had really known the guy for BEERS!
I must really be a WUSS if I trust people on the internet where the HELL did my brain go?! I have actually made friends with people on the internet and consider them close friends on the internet. But would they stab me in the fart in pubic? That is certainly something to stink about. When one considers the answers to life.
The other day after I met with someone who reads Rogers Scanner Reports (I'm a Gemini). I decided to take a little ride in the 600 Block of State Street because I hear so much about it. Aggressive Panhandlers and such. I think I saw the little group of fellas with their doggies near the Metro 4 theatres they all looked like me when I was 18 years old. I'm not sure if they are the youngsters I hear making trouble in that area on the scanner..? I hear some Aggressive panhandling, and Bullying type calls in that area done by young transient males with Pitt Bulls. Has anyone who reads the scanner reports dealt with these what sounds like thugs to me from what I hear on the scanner? I've heard a few experiences that people say they have had with them. I'd like to hear more...Feel free to share just don't get too ANGRY.

That is pretty much it for now. Back to the beginning - I don't have a problem with the homeless; I have a problem with the criminal element within the homeless community especially Sex Offenders. When these dangerous criminals are paroled to our city we should be notified. Homeless shelters should not be allowed to hide Sex Offenders. It doesn't happen much around here but it only takes a second for a child to disappear forever. Y'all have a wonderful weekend and Dog Willing we will see ya on Monday. Roger
