A neighbor called me shortly after 11 a.m. this morning to say she heard on KTMS that Abel Maldonado would face off against Chris Mitchum in the upcoming primary and that the winner will run against Lois Capps in the fall. AS YOU KNOW, THIS IS TOTALLY UNTRUE AND VERY MISLEADING since we have an open primary with all candidates for congress appearing on one ballot.
