I went to Dr. Edstrom (of Edstrom and Trigonis) as an adult and would recommend him highly and without hesitation.

Dr. Jean Seamount is wonderful! She did my braces as a kid and when my brother-in-law needed them I referred him to her and he was very happy. Even though his mouth was very crowded she was able to fix it without pulling any teeth. My husband now needs them and will be going to her in the near future.

I highly recommend Dr. Trigonis. He did my son's, my husband's and my braces. My teeth were very stubborn but he was persistent and would settle for nothing less than perfect and that is just what I got!

Dr. Gary Davirro in Solvang is absolutely the best in the county. He did my wife's braces when she was 47 and he's currently doing mine at age 63. I know numerous adults he's performed his magic over the past 20 years. he also keeps current in all areas of ortho. Call his office (805-688-1862) for a consult (free, btw.)

Chad Wright of the Wright Center for Orthodontics did my adult braces and he did a fantastic job. I'd highly recommend him. I had a complicated case that required working along side a maxillofacial surgeon and he did was able to handle that no problem. He and his staff are all very friendly and competent. I believe they just moved downtown too. His phone is 805-687-645, and he's got a website too. Lovemyorthodontist.

Have you considered invisalign? I had this done with Dr Dukes on the mesa, and I am very happy with the results.

037 - Invisalign is way more expensive than a traditional, orthodontist completed procedure. My ortho guy does both and will tell you Invisalign is all manufactured in Southeast Asia, consists of essentially computer designed, stiff retainers, & the overall results are far less satisfactory than than going the normal route. Oh, he also states orthodontists make a lot more using that system too. Hmmmm I'd stick with a human who knows what he or she is really doing and can monitor every step of the way. No need to wait for the next retainer to be fitted in three weeks. Oh, watch out if you have problems with the Invisalign system too!

Dr. Stewart White on State near CVS near Callle Laureles. Did a PERFECT job for my child. Best of all, he has a special room for adult patents so they don't have to be embarrassed sitting next to a bunch of teenagers. I'm pretty sure his rates are competitive with the other orthodontists in town. Basically you'll get more bang for your buck with Dr. Stewart - and as a bonus, he's a really nice guy.

Dr. Stewart White at 2950 State Street. Excellent job and has s separate room for adult patients. He is the best in town.

Dr Jean Seamount. Chose her for my daughters after seeing her work and have been very pleased. Always see adults in her office when I bring my kids in. Adults often opt for braces done on the tongue side of the teeth so they are not visible--Dr Seamount does those or the conventional ones.

Thank you to all for so many referrals. I was told I was not a candidate for invisalign. Only my bottom teeth are crowded and two teeth will need "slenderizing" so that all can fit when straightened.

I'm an adult who went to Dr. Seamount. She is very attentive and keeps check ups long after the braces are removed. Very happy with her work.
