FRYday - most people's favorite day of the week. I had a rough day on Wednesday as my mother had to get some surgery on her shoulder, it sounded somewhat minor so I wasn't worried about her much. My sister, the normal one, was with her so I assumed Mom would be ok. I really wasn't even thinking about her. That is until I got this e-mail from my uncle that said "You need to call your mother, she's struggling." Struggling?! I thought it was a simple medical thingamajig... I called home got no answer...Started calling the hospitals right away. She's Struggling I could hear her voice in my head...Reaching out "Roger...Roger? Is that you? I can't see I'm struggling..." I flashed back to when I was baby Roger, and my Mama used to rock me to sleep. "Rock a Bye Roger....Roger Mama has to go but we'll see each otter again, don't be sad Roger, Dog has a plan..." I was looking for phone numbers of family members when suddenly I forgot who my family was. I totally stressed out on Flashbacks of Mama! I didn't know who I was...I sat there for a few moments...I totally had no idea who I was or what I was doing, Brain Farts are nice.
When it all started coming back I called my Mommy's number and she answered; I thought it was her ghost. "Ma...Mom is that you?" I axed "Yes it's me Roger I'm struggling...They tied my arm to my body, I cannot move." I was kinda irritated at my uncle after that but it probably wasn't him that e-mailed me it was probably his girlfriend. She does stuff like that. Some of my family members think I should go home and take care of my Mom now that she's old and I don't have much of a life anyway. Of course when I was a kid no one wanted me around I got used to living pretty much alone all these years. I wouldn't mind visiting someday but no way would I stay, unless of course they chained me up in the basement or something. So Ma is OK alive and well, struggling a little.
I took my three wheel tricycle out for a ride on Thursday and had a pretty nice ride. My back did not go out at all. I love riding bicycles; maybe next month I'll find me a nice beach cruiser for the summer. I have one, but it's getting old would like to find a nice old heavy Huffy.
