Scanner Reports 1-04-12
updated: Jan 04, 2012, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Wednesday is already hair, funny how holidays poo dat. Too bad about Sears and K-Mart - always loved those stores. Seemed like Sears always guaranteed their stuff if it didn't work or even if you didn't like it you could take it back and get your money back. Now they are closing all those stores. Hopefully they will keep a couple around, maybe even go back to serving people through the catalog. It would be nice.

So far it seems pretty quiet out there in ScannerLand, I know it's SNOT. Just as I was crashing out last night, it started to jump a little but I wasn't jumping anywhere except to SleepyLand. While some crime is down and things seem quiet now, I think and this is only my opinion DUI and Drunk driving is up and not going down any time soon. So watch your hind quarters crossing the street. I guess it's not ok to carry unloaded hand guns in public anymore, but it's ok to carry a rifle? We'll see how that fares. It will be looking like the good old days on State Street. There probably would not be much panhandling.

Old Pooh Bear is getting better and better. If he goes outside Doc McDonald says he has to have Waterbabies waterproof SPF 60 put on him all the time. I'm scared to let him go out. I'm keeping an eye out for things he could use to help, like I'm on the hunt for a cheap old beat up play pen, and I'm going to order some infant bucket hats from Amazon later on. Once I let him out if I take him back in he's gonna put me through HELL. He's a good howler. About the only thing I noticed besides the regular Code 40 drunks, panhandlers, fighters, loiterers, drunk drivers, Public pee-ers and poopers. Gang Types which could really include a group of just about anyone, even Tea Party Gang Types. If it wasn't for the scanner I'd just call him gang members. I did hear 3 vehicle break-ins all around the same place I'm sure there were more than that.
