Scanner Report 11-23-11
updated: Nov 23, 2011, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Wednesday Wednesday. Tomorrow is Turkey Day, and I'm grateful for my leaky shower... The floor is wet again and this mold infested cold is back. My throat is itching, I'm wheezing. Now the shower is leaking in front. I don't really care. I'm angry, depressed, and I feel like drinking. I feel like tying one on and destroying everything in my way. I'm raging with seething rage. But Hey! Besides that I feel great! It's just anutter normal happy day in the life of my brain.

The wet shower did not start my lovely train of thought nor did Ballistic Belinda yelling and screaming at me this morning throwing my bicycle cd's screaming at me "You Fat piece of Scrap eat a PORK CHOP and die of a heart attack!!! FATTY FATTY TWO BY FOUR CAN'T GET THROUGH THE BATHROOM DOOR!" Real immature but she doesn't bother me. I actually like making people so mad they embarrass themselves. What has been bothering me is one of our latest Homeless deaths; the woman who was burned on Quarantina. The place is already been shoveled out, the "For Rent" Sign is up. Almost looks like nothing happened at all. That goes without saying though. Nothing bad ever happens in Santa Barbara; we all know that. And if it does Oh HELL it happens everywhere SNOT just here so it's OK. A tragedy is what it is. We all make choices in our lives and this woman made a bad choice hanging out with this guy. Because whatever happened, it happened in his place.

I'm going to miss seeing her in the neighborhood walking around. She was at least a pleasant person. It's sad to see someone go down that far and be in the problem, but a little bit is trying to survive then someone comes along takes advantage of that and they die. Sad and it's sad that our society has gone so far downhill that not many people really care. That woman was someone's loved one. Maybe people here in Santa Barbara didn't like her because she was the way she was. But somebody somewhere loved her. Was there an investigation or is it assumed she died in a fire? I thought I read something about an investigation does anyone know?

Having been there myself I know a lot of people that drown their sorrows in alcohol, they think that alcohol makes them happy and are grateful for it in their lives. But it's the furthest thing from the truth. Don't mind me I'm just in my normal state of insanity. Be Grateful you're SNOT.
