Was wondering if anyone knew of a good chimney sweep in Santa Barbara? We just moved into a place and I'm afraid to light a fire in our fireplace without it being cleaned first. What are the going rates for a chimney sweep?

didn't cost too much. $40 - $50? A reasonable wage, seemed like.

Good reminder about getting the chimney cleaned. I think it's recommended for every couple years if you use it alot; we do, thanks for the post as I'd forgotten we need it now.

Dubbels just did ours ... $79 for the safety check, $139 for the cleaning (which included the safety check). Great service, cool folks.

George, The Solar Tube guy did ours. He and his sons left our house perfectly clean and the job was done right and in a timely manner.
