I used to have a friend named Tony many years ago who was an L.A. County Sheriff deputy. He told me the weirdest call he ever got was a 415 Domestic. When he and his partner showed up, the door was part way open. Hearing weird sounds, they pushed the door all the way open and there before them was the husband. His wife was there also - dead. He was cutting her up and shoving pieces of her down the garbage disposal. I don't know if the story was true, but every time Balistic Belinda starts in on me, I think of that story.
Panderia Verconia is open right there at Milpas and Cacique. I get up early every morning around 5-ish, and I can smell the aroma of fresh baking bread. Reminds me of when I was a kid back in Hammond. The Wonder bread company was in town, and we used to drive up to the Northside just to inhale the sweet aroma of fresh baking bread. It's wonderful living next door to a bakery.
A couple of crimes on Thursday for cowards: An Elderly man had his wallet stolen from him in the 1700 Block of State Street near the Kidney Center, and Our Lady of Sorrows had their cash box taken. The vulnerable are easy-pickins for cowards.

Subject went to reporting party's door on De La Vina, knocked, and when door was answered suspicious subject asked for a ????

Male down in front of a store in 700 Block of State Street he was gone before Fire and Medic's arrived.

221 West Micheltorena either a bicyclist fell or was hit by a vehicle. One report said it was minor injuries the other said the subject had a broken leg.

P.S. This one came in after I finished the reports but I had to add it. A female hit herself in the head with a bottle of perfume and suffered a head injury. I'll just say the street where she did it is off Modoc somewhere. Dispatch says she may be 5150.
Oh Boy - at Alisos and Quinientos, man lying in the street. Now being called an unknown-if injury accident at Alisos and Quinientos, so I guess there is more to the call.
200 Block of West Arrellega 415 Roommates one threatened the otter with a stick.
The person who was code blue behind the old Milpas post office was revived he had overdosed on heroin and
is now in detox. The unknown if injury at Alosis and Quinientos was a guy who fell off his bicycle.
