This is 7-year-old Tia, adopted from ASAP last August, the day before the free adoptions. I couldn't wait. You can't tell by this picture, but she "didn't present well" at ASAP, hiding and fearful of everyone. When they told us she'd been there 8 months, we knew we had the patience and love to accept her on her terms.
She hid under the bed and hissed at us for the first week or two and freaked out when she saw Buster, our 14 year old resident cat, much to his chagrin. Now she has come out of her shell. She super playful - as seen here with beloved toy - and Buster is getting used to her rough playing. She has the cutest squeak of a meow and is clearly happy!
