Doctor Specializing in ADD

Can anyone recommend a general doctor within the Sansum Clinic group who specializes in patients currently diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder? I just moved to the area and any referrals would be greatly appreciated.

Dr. Nicole Christiano is fabulous, our family has been going to her for years and you now so do all of my inlaws. You'll have to ask about the ADD but she is a general practioner.

Rick Ponce is a GREAT Primary Care physician but I would think you'd want to seek out a specialist for ADD.

diet and exercise are the first two steps. i would make sure to do everything possible in those arenas before getting involved in amphetamines and other mind altering meds.

I had trouble with ADD for the longest time, then I met a girl that helped me and I moved on to SUBTRACTION and DAVISION...

We see a woman outside the Sansum Clinic who is FANTASTIC!!! Dr. Stephanie D'Augustine. I cannot say enough about how she has helped our family. She is a pediatrician who specializes in Attention Deficit Disorder and Behavioral Issues. Dr. Stephanie is based in Ventura, but she has a satellite office in SB one day a month. She is now taking some insurance. We have an HMO and have chosen to see her out of pocket for the last 2 years because she is that good! It would be worth calling her to just pick her brain. If you cannot see her, she will probably be willing to refer you to someone here in town, or be willing to help you with pertinent questions to ask at another office.
