Celtek is my cousins business but my boss did recover his cell phone by putting it in a bag of rice for a few days. That is known as a possible fix for most electronic devices that have somehow became wet - worth a try.

don't forget to take the battery out immediately after exposure to water, then put in rice asap.

I did the bag of rice thing too, a tip from my teenage daughter, and it did indeed work. Make sure to take battery and card out first. Don't be surprised if there are a few grains of rice inside afterward. Fortunately, I was able to shake them out.

All. It has a cracked screen. Didn't fall in the water so rice-bagging isn't helpful. Any other place I can take it for repairs? Thanks~ OP.

If you bought it on your credit card within the last 90 days, your credit card company might replace it for free. Many companies will guarantee products you buy with their card from loss, theft or damage.

Check with Verizon, it might be under warranty. My husband dropped his phone and the case broke. Verizon replaced it free of charge.

I used the rice cure on my remote control when my cat decided to play with it and dropped it in a cup of coffee. I took out the batteries and put it in the rice immediately. I used instant cooking rice because I was told it was more absorbant. Hooray! It worked perfectly.
