Brewhouse on a Saturday or Sunday during their brunch buffet. They have a great omelette bar!

The Farmer Boy is locally owned and a Santa Barbara tradition. Look for 2-for-1 coupons.

Not high on the gourmet or ambiance scale, but Farmer Boy is an original. Not many of them left.

I'm not an omelet fan but my mom is and she loves them at Cajun Kitchen (Chapala or at De La Vina) and at East Beach Grill.

Max's on upper State....I've never had Renauds's, but Max's is the only place that I know of that does them soufflé style = very fluffy!

Max's. Fluffiest omlette I ever had. Reasonably priced too.

Beachbreak Cafe on lower State. Highest quality ingredients bar none. I am headed there now!

A fourth recommendation for Max's, a third for the Cajun Kitchen and a beware on Beachbreak Cafe where food quality consistency is pretty whimsical but the service is GREAT.

I second Cajun Kitchen, though I'm partial to the Canon Perdido/Chapala location.

Arnoldi's - excellent - as good as there dinners are. Be aware only serve breakfast on the weekends.

Excellent bloody marys to boot :-)

Max's for sure and also Sunday brunch at Glen Annie Golf Course - great all-u-can-eat omelet bar for a decent price (around $15)

Renaulds!! Renaulds!! Renaulds!!

French style, not americanized version, oh soooo yummmmmmy!

I like mine with egg whites, mushrooms and gruyere cheese.

*swoon*

Hmm. Went to Max's with daughter the other week and her omelet was sort of soggy and heavy. I had a plain waffle and I swear it was frozen and just heated up.

Beachbreak cafe: Don't go on a Sunday morning. Service was terrible. And if you op for the muffin with your breakfast, check if it's fresh before the waitress leaves. Mine was so hard it would probably break a window like a rock. Food was OK but I won't go again.
