Peace on Las Canoas

If you're taking a drive to the Rattlesnake trailhead from the Sheffield Reservoir to go for a hike, you may find that a very peaceful feeling comes over you en route. It could be the shady oak trees or the new green grass covering the fire-ravaged hillsides above.

Or, maybe it's the very visible signs of peace set up by two local residents. This peace sign, with its recycled reflective-ness, is impossible to miss as you head up Las Canoas. The exact address is 1578 Las Canoas Road.

Down the other side of the hill, there's the farmhouse with PEACE on its roofline that was featured on Edhat in 2007 our March Edness contest.
