Verizon Building Ornament

The Verizon Building is one of the most well known buildings in town because of its grand old style and ornate decorations. We all know it's there, but the grandness of the structure must be all we can take in, because the details go unnoticed. The dedicated staff of edhat.com knows this is true because, for the second year in a row we have stumped March Ednesss contestants with the detail of this building. Last year the compass in the sidewalk out front was as hard to find as a toaster in a hammock. Maybe people walking by the Verizon Building don't look down, we thought. This year, the ornamentation that looks like those at La Arcada and City Hall was no less difficult. Apparently, people walking by the Verizon Building don't look up either!
