I need a plastic surgeon that specializes in neck/face lifts. Does anyone have any recommendations for facial plastic surgeons?

My wife has had several procedures with Dr David Buchanan. Wr have consistently been very satisfied with the results and his professionalism. Moreover, his administrative staff is a pleasure to deal with.

Gregory Keller. Board certified in 2 specialities, a professor at UCLA, has developed a number of less invasive procedures and is well published in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and pretty much limits his practice to neck and face. He specializes in a more natural look. I had some things done and have had a number of friends who have had the full face and neck with excellent results. Plus he is a great guy very compassionate. I do not work for him or have a personal relationship with him or any staff. I have been a RN for 20 years and worked as a surgical nurse in a cosmetic clinic in the past. I would definetely go back, but the bottem line is that you need to get a few consults and do some research to make a informed decision. Best of luck to you

Sadly, Kenny Rogers has the same comic book catwoman look that Kathy Lee Gifford got. Like a really bad haircut, except it will never grow back and look decent again. Try to find the doctor who did Barbra.. She looks very good for being a nickel or a dime short of seventy.

Whatever you do, make sure that they are board-certified in plastic surgery. (Anyone can say that they're a plastic surgeon, so you want to make sure that they have been certified in that discipline.)

Dr. Gregory Keller. Met him at a free event at Nirvana Hyberbaric Institute in Solvang last month and was very impressed with his approach and discussion of latest techniques on facial and neck lifts. He offers complimentary initial consults and has offices in Santa Barbara and LA.

The very best in California is Dr. Issa Eshima in San Francisco. He does the most beautiful, natural-looking work imaginable. If you call his office, they will send you a packet of before-and-after photos and a detailed estimate of cost for what you want to have done. It will probably cost between $25,000 and $30,000 for a face and neck lift. This may be a little higher than some local doctors, but plastic surgery is no place to hire the low-cost provider. I can't recommend him enough. If you have to stay with someone local, Dr. Soares has long been considered the best local plastic surgeon.

I work in Derm, and we refer to Soares frequently. He's *very* good. I have heard good things about Keller, as well. To the OP: contact the offices you are considering & ask for information. Meet with the doctors for a consult, and THEN choose. I've loved some doctors and not used their offices because of terrible staff, and if you do a consult/call/visit you'll get to know both the doc & the staff that will be helping you.

Lapatka is a money grubbing machine. Don't expect any personal care or attention from him. I don't know about the others but they couldn't be more self-centeered than Lapatka.

I am also an RN, and have worked with most of the surgeons mentioned. I would only go to Dr. Julio Soares...he has the best, most natural looking results. You won't look like you had a lot done...but isn't that the point?
