And I am looking for a garden handyman, not a landscape service, but someone who could cut down a Myoporum that I foolishly planted and let grow -- as well as some heavy pruning.

Give Goodland Handyman a call - honest, reliable and fast, Shawn Kelly's got lots of experience and is super easy to work with. 805-680-7231. Can supply references too, if needed.

I am sure all who have been listed are good, but keep inminded that if thay charge you over $500.00 then they must be lic by the state contractors board. Chect insurance, workmans comp as they all are required by law, if they have employees. and always check the BBB and referances.

I used this referral page and called Ed Wood per people's recommendations. Unfortunately my experience with him was bad. He did show up to estimate the work but to get him to come back to start the work was like pulling teeth. Three times I was told by him he would come on a specific day or the following day and he never did. I lost three weeks because of this and I finally had to fire him via voicemail when he didn't pick up his phone or respond to e-mail. A wasted experience.

Does anyone know of someone who can repair small appliances? Yes, I know I could just buy a new iron, but it got dropped and still works, but the plate has pulled away from the body. I have a feeling it's a simple repair. Thank you!
