Pawdicure for Barnaby

Last night our 3-year-old male Basset Hound, Barnaby, fell asleep and our daughter decided to practice her make-up skills on him. With non-toxic cherry red and glitter nail polishes in hand, she went after his toe nails. Sure, he needs a nail clipping but he's tolerant of most anything we subject him to.
The poor guy couldn't figure out why everyone was giggling under their breath when he went for his morning stroll this morning.
I just hope he doesn't set a new fashion trend; painted dog nails is a bit too quirky, even for my blood.
He's loved and I thought the images might make you smile.
