DOG OF THE WEEK

Cookie
updated: Jul 02, 2011, 9:15 AM

Everyone Loves cookies. Cookie Loves Everyone. This Cookie is Love. Cookie is a 2 year old 66 lb. beautiful, chocolate brown colored, energetic, smart pit bull terrier mix who needs a Forever Home. She has been living at K-9 PALS for 2 years. There has been an Outpouring of Love for her by the community to assist her in receiving training to increase her skills to help her get ready for her Forever Home. She has been at Camp Canine in training with John Sorosky for the past 10 days and is doing beautifully. It is a dream to take her for a walk, she is perfecting her obedience to commands, and in general is a licking machine-she has so much Love inside of her.

Cookie has funding to continue training with John for another l0 days and then will return to the shelter where she will no longer have the l:l and it would be difficult to maintain the new skills she has worked so hard and been so supported to acquire. She is in the Heart of everyone who knows her. She needs and deserves a forever home at this time.

If you are interested and would like to meet Cookie or know of an animal loving friend who would love to have a great dog, loyal friend, and running partner, please contact Shelley at 805 957-1704 or 569-9647 or call K-9 PALS at 681-4369. Adoption will include 4 free training sessions with a wonderful local professional dog trainer. Thank you! Woof!
