I'm looking for a carpet remnant for a long hall, and want to get it edge
bound. Also, I need a couple of remnants of thick rug pad for area rugs so
they will be more comfortable for my kids when they are playing. Any
suggestions of local shops where I can find these things with reasonable
pricing and friendly service?

Abbys Carpet Downtown has always been good to deal with for me and I've used them for 3 rentals in the past 2.5 years they beat everyone else on price each time.

I have gotten remnants from Carpeteria in Goleta. Very reasonable and a huge selection.
