I was really impressed by Annette at Massage Envy (Santa Barbara branch) who does deep tissue, similar to trigger point. Bonus points for it being fairly cheap so you can go more often.

Freeman. He's the best, unless you don't feel comfortable about a male (masseur). Not sure if does trigger point, but this guy has helped many a friend and a few family members with his catcher mitt sized hands and horse leg sized arms.

Not sure exactly what trigger point therapy is, but if it's similar to deep tissue massage (per comment 739), try Roger at The Massage Place at 22 E. Victoria St. I was recently very impressed with his deep tissue massage.

I hated Massage Palace! Too noisy, I could not relax at all! I would recommend Cybil from Sb Athletic Club!

Both David M. and David R. at Massage Envy are life savers. These guys keep me walking despite back problems and sciatica. And as far as the comment about the noise--that was probably me moaning that it "hurt so good."

I go to Daniel at least once a week who is a certified massage therapist. He does everything from Thai massage to trigger points and deep tissue. He is not creepy at all, you will never feel uncomfortable. He is tall ,very athletic, strong build, and he's very good looking incase that matters to women. And as for men, he is strong enough to give you the kind of pressure you need. Give him a call at (805)450-7914. You wont be dissappointed.

John Harris is very good. For pure trigger point, Heather Fulbeck is the best I've had (she was one of John's students). I believe she only takes new clients on referral though
